This privacy policy explains how UAB Techranga processes personal data when you visit techranga.lt or contact us by email or phone. We process data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.

2. What data we process and why

Enquiries and correspondence

When you email or call us, we process your name, company, job title, contact details, the content of your enquiry and any files you send (e.g. drawings, 3D models, photos).

We use this data to answer your enquiry, prepare a quotation, and conclude and perform a contract. The legal basis is taking steps prior to entering into a contract and performing a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), as well as our legitimate interest in communicating with existing and potential customers (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Technical website data

When you visit the website, the hosting server automatically logs technical information: IP address, browser type, time of visit and pages opened. This data is needed to keep the website running and secure (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and is not used to identify visitors.

Visit statistics and ad measurement (only with your consent)

If you consent to analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to measure website traffic: which pages are visited, where visitors come from and which devices they use. We do not identify visitors personally.

If you consent to advertising cookies, we use Google Ads conversion measurement: we record that a visitor who came through our ad clicked our phone number or email address. This helps us assess how well our ads perform.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.

3. Confidentiality of drawings and technical information

We use the drawings and technical documentation you send only to assess your enquiry and carry out your order. We do not share them with third parties or use them for other orders.

4. How long we keep data

We keep enquiry and correspondence data for as long as needed to handle the enquiry or contract, and no longer than 5 years after our last contact if no contract is concluded. Documents related to contracts and accounting are kept for the period required by law. Technical server logs are kept for a short time and deleted automatically. Google Analytics data is kept for no longer than 14 months.

5. Who we share data with

Data may only be processed by service providers we need to run our business: website hosting, email and IT service providers, and accounting service providers. They process data only on our instructions. With your consent, visit statistics and ad measurement data are processed by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). We may also provide data to public authorities where required by law. If data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, the safeguards provided by the GDPR apply (e.g. standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission). Google may transfer data to Google LLC in the USA; such transfers are covered by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

6. Cookies

Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. We always use strictly necessary cookies; analytics and advertising cookies are used only with your consent. On your first visit a cookie banner lets you accept all, choose necessary only, or select individual categories. You can change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page.

Strictly necessary cookies

• tr_consent – remembers your cookie choice (valid for 6 months).
• pll_language – remembers the language you selected (valid for 1 year).
• wordpress_*, wp-settings-* – used only when website administrators log in to the content management system.

Analytics cookies (only with consent)

• _ga, _ga_* – Google Analytics: distinguishing visitors and visit statistics (valid for up to 2 years).

Advertising cookies (only with consent)

• _gcl_au, _gcl_aw – Google Ads: measuring ad clicks and conversions (valid for 90 days).

The website’s fonts and other content are loaded from our own server. The exception is the Google Maps map on the contacts page: when it loads, Google Ireland Limited receives your IP address and may use its own cookies. We show the map on the basis of our legitimate interest in helping you find us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). More information is available in Google’s privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy).

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

• access your personal data;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• have your data erased (“right to be forgotten”);
• restrict processing;
• object to processing based on legitimate interest;
• receive your data in a structured format and transfer it to another controller.

If you believe your data is being processed unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the State Data Protection Inspectorate of Lithuania (L. Sapiegos g. 17, LT-10312 Vilnius, vdai.lrv.lt) or with the data protection authority in your country.

We may update this privacy policy. The current version is always published on this page, with the date of the latest update shown at the top.
